Katie is a beautiful green eyed Terrier mix. She is a bit shy when meeting new people but as soon as she warms up to them she is very affectionate. She loves her squeaky toys, gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves to ride in the car.
Katie would like to sleep in bed with you at night and get lots of cuddles. She would like to have a yard to do her business since she is just learning to walk on the leash.
Katie is about 7 months old, she weighs 12 lbs.; she is spayed and up to date on all shots.
Amelia (Mia) is a very gentle, quiet and well behaved little lady. She is active, entertaining and curious but not a barker. Amelia loves to lay in the sun so a yard is mandatory for her. She would also like to sleep in bed with you at night. Once past the hurdle of her natural shyness with people who are new to her, Mia is friendly and extremely affectionate. She loves to be cuddled and would like to be a lapdog. Mia may be initially shy and skittish so she will need some patience. It took her about three months to really come out of her shell and become comfortable and confident in her foster home. As soon as she warms up to you though she wants to be your little shadow. Amelia would prefer a quiet household without much food traffic and no small children. It would be great if there is another calm dog in the household already since Mia loves to cuddle up to her doggy friends whenever possible. While Mia is housebroken, she does still need attention paid to make sure she is let out of the house to relieve herself. She will use training pads in the house if necessary. Mia is about 9 years old, she weighs 9 lbs., she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her shots. Our vet assumes that she is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix.
Tony is a very sweet and well behaved Chihuahua that is full of energy and puppy kisses. He loves to play, gets along well with other dogs and it would be great if he had a doggy friend to play with.
Tony would like to cuddle up on the couch and sleep in bed with you at night. He rides well in the car and is the perfect companion for leisurely afternoons at the coffee shop.
Since Tony is so small we don't recommend him for families with toddlers or small children. He would like a secured, fenced backyard to do his business.
Tony is housebroken and is just learning to walk on the leash.
Tony is about 7 months old and weighs 11 lbs. He is dewormed, neutered and up to date on all shots.
Teddy is an active little dog that loves nothing more than chasing his little orange ball.
Teddy is a bit shy around new people and will need a while to warm up to strangers. Teddy has a slight handicap, he walks fine but has trouble running fast but that doesn’t keep him from being an active and playful dog. He is not in any pain and he doesn’t need any medication! He does well around other dogs but given his small size, older, respectful children will be better as opposed to babies or toddlers.
Teddy walks well on a leash but he would also like a secured, fenced yard to do his business.
Teddy would like a stay-at-home person since he doesn't like to be left alone for a long period of time.
He is 2 years old and weighs less than 8 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
Little senior Honey’s mom died and she was handed over to a relative who already had too many dogs of her own.
And since poor gentle Honey is almost blind and hard of hearing, she is getting bullied mercilessly by the much younger resident dogs and sadly she is turning skittish and fearful.
Honey would like to spend the rest of her days as an only dog (or with another gentle senior dog) with a stay at home person that can pamper and spoil her.
Honey is very well behaved and surprisingly agile for her 14 years; she walks nicely on the leash, loves car rides and trips to the groomer.
Honey is a miniature Poodle/Havanese mix, she weighs about 11 lbs., she is spayed and up to date on her shots.
Alexis is a calm, quiet dog that was treated poorly in her last home.
But she is still very loving and good around other dogs as long as they are not too pushy. She is very well behaved and easy going, she loves to sleep, cuddle and would love a person that she can attach herself to and also some leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Since Alexis a bit shy we would recommend her for a quiet home without a lot of foot traffic or small children.
At 17 lbs. Alexis is severely overweight and needs to be on a strict, healthy diet and an exercise regime to shed some pounds.
Alexis is 10 years old; she is spayed and up to date on shots.
Donovan is a spunky, happy pocket Pittie, (Bull Terrier/Chihuahua mix). He is very active, enjoys playing with his toys and chasing a ball. He likes to explore and run outside in the yard. Donovan loves people and wants to please; he is very affectionate, cuddly and wants to stay close to his person. He walks well on the leash but still needs some training since he is just so happy that he starts jumping and pulling.
He needs an active family for playtime and walks but we wouldn’t recommend him for a family with small children since he is so rambunctious that he just might run them over. Also, please no other dogs for him.
Donovan is 13 months old; he still needs some training and learning puppy etiquettes. He weighs 21 lbs.; he is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.
Donovan will need ongoing puppy training (leash, potty, manners) so please only apply if you are ready to put in the work and have the time and patience for a puppy
Lorenzo is a sweet and affectionate little Terrier mix. He is a bit shy around new people and dogs but warms up fast.
He would like an active family for playtime and walks; it would be great if there is another playful dog in the family. He is just learning to walk on a leash and is catching up fast.
Tony would like to cuddle up on the couch and sleep in bed with you at night.
Since Lorenzo is so small we don't recommend him for families with toddlers or small children. He would like a secured, fenced backyard to do his business.
Lorenzo is about 7 months old and weighs 11 lbs. He is dewormed, neutered and up to date on all shots. Our vet assumes that Lorenzo is a Podengo/Norfolk Terrier mix.
