Thank you so much for considering adopting your new family member from Chihuahuas of the Valley!
All our dogs are currently living in foster care and are looking for their forever home!

Paloma is an elegant petite girl, she weighs just 7 lbs.
She is a bit shy when she meets new people but warms up fast and wants to be your best friend. As soon as she knows her person she wants to stay close for attention and cuddles and she would love to sleep in bed with you at night.
Paloma is used to go outside to do her business so a secured fenced yard is mandatory for her. She also uses pee pads inside if needed. She is just learning to walk on a leash but since she is a smart little dog she learns fast and will have the hang of it in no time. She should be an only dog since she is guarding her food. Given her small size, older, respectful children will be better as opposed to babies or toddlers.
Paloma is 5 years old, weighs, 7 lbs., she is spayed, up to date on all shots, she is microchipped and just had a dental
Luca is an elegant, friendly but shy Chihuahua mix . He is still a puppy at heart that loves running around and playing with his toys. He gets along fine with other dogs but can also be an only dog.
Luca is reserved at first and nervous around strangers and will need time to warm up to them.
Luca is not your average Chihuahua; he is a bit slow at learning new things like walking on a leash. He will need time and patience from his new family.
A secured, fenced yard is mandatory for Luca .
Since he is so timid at first we don't recommend him for small children or toddler.
Luca weighs 19 lbs. and is 12 months old. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and he is dewormed
Tony is a sweet, rambunctious boy. This tiny, 10 weeks old puppy is full of puppy kisses and energy and he would like an active family for walks (as soon as he is leash trained) and play time. Since Tony weighs only 3 lbs. we don’t recommend him for a family with toddlers or small kids.
Tony would like a secured, fenced yard since he is not leash and potty trained yet.
He is dewormed and he had his first puppy shots.
Teddy is an active little dog that loves nothing more than chasing his little orange ball.
Teddy is a bit shy around new people and will need a while to warm up to strangers. Teddy has a slight handicap, he walks fine but has trouble running fast but that doesn’t keep him from being an active and playful dog. He is not in any pain and he doesn’t need any medication! He does well around other dogs but given his small size, older, respectful children will be better as opposed to babies or toddlers.
Teddy walks well on a leash but he would also like a secured, fenced yard to do his business.
Teddy would like a stay-at-home person since he doesn't like to be left alone for a long period of time.
He is 2 years old and weighs less than 8 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
Little senior Honey’s mom died and she was handed over to a relative who already had too many dogs of her own.
And since poor gentle Honey is almost blind and hard of hearing, she is getting bullied mercilessly by the much younger resident dogs and sadly she is turning skittish and fearful.
Honey would like to spend the rest of her days as an only dog (or with another gentle senior dog) with a stay at home person that can pamper and spoil her.
Honey is very well behaved and surprisingly agile for her 14 years; she walks nicely on the leash, loves car rides and trips to the groomer.
Honey is a miniature Poodle/Havanese mix, she weighs about 11 lbs., she is spayed and up to date on her shots.
Dexter (M) 12 weeks, 3.9 lbs.

Mambo is about 14 weeks old and weighs 4.9lbs. He is a shy little guy around strangers but as soon as he knows a person he is full of puppy kisses and super cuddly. He likes other small dogs as long as they are not too pushy since he himself is more the submissive kind. Mambo would like a secured, fenced yard since he is not leash and potty trained yet. Given his small size, older, respectful children will be better as opposed to babies or toddlers.
Mambo is dewormed and he had his first puppy shots.
